St John Passion, BWV 245, by Johann Sebastian Bach

Free entry, according to the room capacity.

In this concert, the public is invited to sing the melodies of the 11 choirs that punctuate the work. Aiming to enhance the spirit of communion that underlies this work.

Throughout the work, the narration of Christ's passion is punctuated by choirs with very simple Lutheran melodies that were known by the entire congregation. Bach places these moments of religious reflection throughout the work,
in which we will have the public participation. In these 11 choirs, members of the public will be allowed and encouraged to sing the choral melodies.

Instructions for participating in the concert

Support material will be provided (video tutorials, PDFs) so that everyone can be prepared. There will be a rehearsal with the artists on the day of the concert.
