In this master's program, eating disorders (such as anorexia and bulimia) and metabolic diseases (such as obesity, diabetes, osteoporosis, among others) are studied across the various branches of knowledge.
Students are also given the possibility of direct contact with patients so that they acquire practical skills in the area.
Acquire knowledge regarding food and eating patterns throughout the life cycle (child, adolescent, adult and elderly) and know how to establish appropriate nutritional plans for each phase and individual.
Know the classification and epidemiology of eating disorders and metabolic diseases.
Analyze the pathologies related to lifestyles and the development model.
Understand the role of genetic factors in metabolic and eating disorders.
Acquire knowledge about cellular metabolism and its main pathways.
