The degree in Dance aims at training senior staff to ensure qualified activities related to dance professions, in the artistic, educational, recreational and inclusive domains. Dance graduates participate through activities associated with dance movement in the most diverse contexts, promoting art, culture, health and education. In this cycle, students must acquire solid scientific, technical and pedagogical training, based on the sciences of human movement, in the combination of biological foundations with cultural foundations and operational mastery of some of the multiple dance techniques combined with experimentation with an expressive component and of choreographic composition. In addition to preparing to intervene in a creative, adaptive and enterprising way, individually and in multidisciplinary teams, in the areas mentioned above, this course provides the foundations for the continuation of studies in a master's degree.

Objectives 

a) Evaluate and diagnose to intervene, through dance practices, in human and cultural development projects
b) Conceive and plan projects, involving dance and its multiple techniques, in the artistic, educational, recreational or inclusive areas, adjusting these intervention projects to the respective contexts and target populations, namely children, young people, adults or elderly people
c) Conduct intervention processes that improve artistic performance, health promotion through dance activities, social inclusion and sociocultural animationa) Evaluate and diagnose to intervene, through dance practices, in human and cultural development projects
