Committed to the European values of Peace, Democracy, Rule of Law, Human Rights and Freedom, Universidade de Lisboa expresses its solidarity with the Ukrainian people and promotes four benefit concerts.

All ticket sales and donations collected in this series of Benefit Concerts of the program Music at Universidade de Lisboa, reverts to the campaign “Cáritas Ajuda Ucrânia” supporting Cáritas’s response in Ukraine, in border countries and in Portugal.

Antologia de Ópera
Benefit Concert
thursday | March 17th | 9pm at Aula Magna of Universidade de Lisboa
Soloists and Opera Orchestra in the Academy and in the City.
Direction: José Ferreira Lobo. Program: Mozart, Rossini and Otto Nicolai.
Free entry, limited to the capacity of the room, with fundraising by Cáritas Portuguesa

Laurent Filipe
Benefit Concert
friday | April 1st | 9pm at Aula Magna of Universidade de Lisboa
“Truth of Songs”, a concert that will feature the well-known musician Laurent Filipe as the main artist and Felipe Fontenelle, among other musicians, as his guest.

Ritual de Fogo
 Benefit Concert
sunday | April 3rd | 5pm at Aula Magna of Universidade de Lisboa
The concert “Fire Ritual” by the Academic Orchestra of Universidade de Lisboa, departs from the adventure into the unknown, faces challenges and conflicts and comes to its end in a transformation that takes us into a “state of grace”.

Concerto da Primavera
Benefit Concert

tuesday | April 5th | 9:30pm at Igreja da Graça in Lisbon
A concert by Universidade de Lisboa Choir with the participation of Universidade de Lisboa Chamber Choir. Direction: Conductor Eduardo Martins and Conductor Luís Almeida. A choral program of Sacred Music, with texts alluding to human commiseration, by several composers with a special focus on the Romantic period.
Free entry, limited to the capacity of the room, with fundraising by Cáritas Portuguesa
