The Projects, Entrepreneurship and Knowledge Transfer Office (GPETC: Gabinete de Projetos, Empreendedorismo e Transferência de Conhecimento) is responsible for the administrative and financial management of projects; for assisting project managers with the negotiation and implementation of grant agreements and decisions, and with the submission of financial reports in collaboration with the Schools' own units/offices; for supporting the scientific research and technological development activities of the University, as well as knowledge transfer and the University’s economic wellbeing, and; for upholding the management and protection of intellectual property, advancing business relations, and supporting entrepreneurship, both nationally and internationally.

The services that were formerly rendered by the previous OTIC and UL Inovar offices are now provided by GPETC.
