This play by GTN - Grupo de Teatro da NOVA [NOVA’S theatre group] will be performed on 22 May at 7pm at Teatro da Comuna, as part of FATAL.
Mysterious rifts are emerging throughout the world, destroying habitats and forcing migrations. But no one here cares.
Everyone’s attention is focused around the mayoral candidate’s promise: rapid economic growth, more industries, jobs, and houses.
Everyone seems to want this, save for Maru. She’s a young woman that fights for the environment and whose asthma worsens due to the constant pollution, However, her call for sustainability is ignored. Even her only refuge, the local park where she can breathe, calm herself, and connect with nature, is threatened.
