Research at ULisboa is carried out on the basis of policies and regulations that frame and guide research activities, ensuring quality, integrity and strategic alignment.

ULisboa Regulations are diverse in nature and are designed to facilitate the organisation and operation of research and innovation, among others.

The ethical dimension is clearly inscribed in ULisboa mission and values, which mention the importance of intellectual freedom and respect for ethics in all its activities, including research and innovation.

Ethics is also explicit in ULisboa Charter of Rights and Guarantees (and its Rectification) and in ULisboa Code of Conduct and Good Practices (and its Rectification).
