Access to Higher Education Department
Candidates for the National Competition for Access and Admission to Higher Education who intend to apply to institutions in the Lisbon area may head to the Access to Higher Education Department.
The Rectory of the University of Lisbon (ULisboa) has an Access to Higher Education Department dedicated to query handling and providing safe and rigorous assistance to candidates applying for the National Competition for Access and Admission to Higher Education.
Application support is open during the following time periods:
1st phase – National Competition for Access and Admission to Higher Education 2026
- Students with foreign secondary education qualifications applying for an equivalent entrance examination (residents and emigrants) – 20 to 27 July 2026
- Students with Portuguese secondary education – 20 July to 6 August 2026
2nd phase – National Competition for Access and Admission to Higher Education – 24 August to 2 September 2026
3rd phase – National Competition for Access and Admission to Higher Education – 22 to 24 September 2026
