Unite! Networking Hub: Large Online Courses

The Unite! Networking Hub session on 16 December invites university educators and course developers from the Unite! alliance who are interested in creating or improving large-scale online courses. The discussion will range from general practicalities and ways to increase student engagement to managing student workload. Participants can have varying levels of experience, from exploring online teaching for the first time to having run MOOCs or hybrid courses for many years.

Unite!'s Networking Hubs are virtual spaces for informal meetings between members of the nine universities that make up the alliance, with the aim of encouraging the sharing of experiences and best practices, as well as promoting collaboration between professionals who face similar challenges in their institutions.

The sessions address topics related to teaching, research, academic management, information technology, human resources, among others.
