To enhance students’ international experience in sport management by going beyond the requirements of national markets and aligning the programme with the needs of the international labour market; To strengthen students’ employability through a policy of compulsory internships and the development of transferable skills required for professional integration, such as intercultural management and risk management.
The main career opportunities offered by the GOALS Master’s programme include management and leadership positions in sports organisations, professional clubs, sports facilities, fitness centres, leisure companies and event-organising bodies. Graduates may work as club or sports facility directors, event managers, technical directors, operations managers or executives, as well as in communication, marketing, market research, project management, partnerships, business development, sales and customer relationship management (CRM). They may also pursue independent careers as consultants, specialists or business partners in the field of sport management.
Access and ingress
The specific conditions for entry are:
1. Administrative verification and validation: Curriculum Vitae, 2 Letters of Recommendation, 1 Letter of Motivation, Passport, Graduation Certificate and Academic transcript of records (BSc).
2. Assessment: all applications are assessed based on the assessment criteria defined in the administrative process (see in Appendix).
3. Interview: pre-selected candidates will be interviewed via Zoom, in accordance with the established criteria (see in Appendix).
4. Final selection: the final ranking of candidates is made by combining the application scores (50%) with the performance in the interview (50%).
