On 7 April, the University of Lisbon will promote the Digital & Autonomous Technologies – Opportunities for Society and Research Workshop, as part of the UNITE!Widening’s project.
The event will take place at TTC@ULisboa from 9am to 2pm in a hybrid format, bringing together researchers, enterprises, start-ups and other stakeholders interested in the latest trends of digital technologies and autonomous systems.
Throughout the morning, topics such as the following will be discussed:
- Reasoning capabilities in Large Language Models (LLMs);
- Technology transfer and university-industry collaboration in Robotics and AI;
- Experiences in innovation and start-up creation;
- Data analysis in the age of LLMs.
The programme will also include:
- Pitch sessions by companies and researchers;
- Presentation of Horizon Europe funding opportunities for international R&D projects in the digital field, promoted by AAVANZ - Innovation;
- Open discussion and networking. The networking lunch will include the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for the creation of an Open Innovation Community.
The workshop provides an opportunity to explore strategic partnerships, identify common challenges and boost participation in European consortia.
