ULisboa’s participation in this event, as part of the “Study and Reseach in Portugal" booth organized by the Institute for Higher Education, is particularly important for strengthening its internationalization strategy, as it allows the university to increase its visibility in the European and global higher education landscape and consolidate its presence in key international networks. At this year’s event, ULisboa will be represented by several of its schools: the Lisbon School of Architecture, the Faculty of Sciences, the School of Arts and Humanities, the ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management, the Técnico ULisboa, and the Lisbon School of Nursing.
The conference also provides an opportunity to establish and strengthen strategic partnerships with institutions from different countries, fostering future collaborations on joint projects, academic mobility programs, and other international initiatives.
Participation in the EAIE Conference also allows the University to keep abreast of key trends and best practices in the field of internationalization, promote the professional development of its staff, and access studies, data, and strategic information on developments in international higher education.
In a context marked by the growing importance of international cooperation and the transformation of European higher education, ULisboa’s participation in the EAIE Conference 2026 reinforces its commitment to becoming an increasingly international university that is prepared to address global challenges.
