From November 10th to December 20th, 2025, applications will be open for PhD fellowships under the European University Unite! program, under the existing partnership agreement between FCT and ULisboa.

The University of Lisbon (ULisboa) is part of the network University Network for Innovation, Technology and Engineering (Unite!), together with Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany), Aalto University(Finland), KTH - Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), Grenoble Institute of Technology(France), Politecnico di Torino (Italy), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Spain), Graz University of Technology (Austria) e Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Poland).
Under the agreement with the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), ULisboa is awarding 30 PhD fellowships in Unite!'s priority areas (although other areas are not excluded):
• Artificial Intelligence
• Energy – Batteries
• Hydrogen and Smart Cities
• Industry 4.0
