New offer: online courses, free of charge, and eligible for ECTS to develop students’ digitals skills, starting this semester.
Through the training programme PRODIGI (PROgramação, Informação e Cidadania DIGital) [PROgramming, Information and DIGital Citizenship], in consortium with Polytechnic University of Lisbon, the University of Lisbon is developing advanced programming skills amongst adults and young adults. This initiative is financed by the programme ‘Reforço das Competências Digitais’ [Improving Digital Skills], ‘Impulso Mais Digital’ [Digital Urge], under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP).
The consortium has extended this offer to short courses, fully asynchronous and available via the MOOC Técnico platform, to our academic community. These courses, which can be successfully completed without professor support, will be available from April to June of the current year.
This programme is aimed at students, from any course of study (Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree or PhD), in scientific fields that do not fall within Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (non-CTEAM areas)
Successful completion of these modules will be certified by the PRODIGI programme, granting 1.5 ECTS in the area of Computer Science (CNAEF 481).
Students from CTEAM fields will also be able to attend the courses, directly via the MOOC Técnico platform. The credits earned will be of equal value, but the certification will be awarded outside the scope of the programme.
