Marco

This is a great opportunity for students from the nine member universities of Unite's alliance to engage in a major European initiative — the European Student Assembly 2025 (ESA25). in the European Student Assembly 2025 (ESA25), the 4th edition of this prestigious event. The ESA25, organized by the European Universities Community, will take place from May 26 to 28, 2025, at the European Parliament in Strasbourg. This event brings together students from across Europe to engage in meaningful debates and draft policy recommendations on critical topics related to the future of Europe.

About the European Student Assembly (ESA25):
The ESA25 is part of the EUC Voices Project, a collaboration funded by the Erasmus+ program, aimed at fostering active European citizenship. Over several months, participants will collaborate on eight key topics, culminating in a deliberative assembly in Strasbourg. Additionally, dissemination events will be organized after the assembly to share the outcomes of the discussions.

Why should you participate?

  • Represent the voices of students from diverse countries, disciplines, and study levels.
  • Collaborate with peers from the European Universities Alliances (EUAs) to strengthen the student community across Europe.
  • Contribute to deliberative processes that aim to bridge the gap between European citizens and decision-makers.
  • Engage with European politics and help regenerate democracy at multiple levels – local, national, and European.

Participating in ESA allowed me to gain valuable insights into European policymaking processes and deepen my understanding of European challenges and opportunities. The best part about this experience was the opportunity to play a role in addressing these complex issues for the future of Europe. Doing this together with like-minded and passionate students from all over Europe and beyond made the whole experience even more enjoyable and meaningful
