Students who are unable to apply for a student card through the online process can do so in person at the Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) stands.
Online
Once you have completed your registration process in your school's FenixEdu academic system, you will be redirected to the CGD onboarding site. If you prefer, you can access it later by going to the myFenix > Personal Info > Identification Card > Send Data.
Notes:
- To submit the request, you need an active Digital Mobile Key.
- You must authorise FenixEdu to share data with CGD (myFenix > Personal Info > Consents > Authorize).
In person
You can go to a CGD branch or a service desk (available at the ULisboa Main Building and ULisboa Schools).
There, you will immediately receive a temporary ID card.

- Faculty of Law: September 8–12, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
- Faculdade de Farmácia: September 23–25, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
- Faculty of Fine Arts: September 15–19, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
- Faculty of Medicine: September 8–11, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
- Faculty of Psychology: September 15–17, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
- Institute of Education: September 15–17, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
- Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning: September 15–17, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
- Rector’s Office: August 25–September 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
