ULisboa brings the entrepreneurial spirit of academia to the Web Summit 2025

The University of Lisbon is present at the Web Summit 2025, becoming the first Portuguese university to have its own stand at one of the world's largest technology and innovation events.

With this presence, the University reaffirms its commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship. The ULisboa stand will be a meeting point between science, innovation and impact, where it will be possible to learn about the institution's entrepreneurial ecosystem and its Schools, with a demonstration space for innovative projects, surrounded by a typically Lisbon environment.

In person, the space will be dynamically activated in conjunction with five Schools of the University of Lisbon (Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Sciences, School of Arts and Humanities, and Faculty of Medicine) and with TTC@ULisboa — the Technology Transfer and Knowledge Valorization Centre of the University of Lisbon. Throughout the event, innovative projects will be presented that illustrate the diversity, transversality, and scientific richness that make up the University of Lisbon.

Visit us at Web Summit 2025, at FIL and Altice Arena, Pavilion 3 (E378) and discover the ideas from ULisboa that are shaping the future of innovation.

Also stop by the stand of the IST Técnico of ULisboa, which will be present in Pavilion 1 (E-176). You will be able to see prototypes firsthand, talk to alumni and see up close startups and spinoffs that were born at Técnico.

Meanwhile, ULisboa is promoting “UniVerse: Entrepreneurial Academy” on November 11th, from 17h00 to 20h00, at the Pavilion of Portugal. This initiative is dedicated to the impact of academia on the Portuguese entrepreneurship ecosystem and is collaboratively built with the Universities of Porto, Coimbra, Aveiro, Algarve, Évora, Madeira and NOVA FCT, with the support of the National Innovation Agency, Startup Portugal, and EIT Community Hub Portugal.
